To honour Sam Stosur’s triumphant 2011 US Open win, Australia Post has produced a souvenir stamp sheet in celebration.

The souvenir stamp sheet features 10 x 60c Southern Cross stamps with Sam Stosur holding the US Open Cup on the stamp tab. Images of Stosur with her winner’s cup and scenes from the match feature on the border of the stamp sheet.

    Hi Sam your have had a wonderful year one DOUBLES  title with Sabine, one Wimbeldon RUNNER in the doubles and THE US OPEN WIN.  I dont think that the 2011 tennis season could have gone much better for you CONGRATULATIONS.

    I prayed that you would win and you did beat Serena.

    Great win Sam! 7 points conceded in the second set, talk about dominance! Last week you were understandably a bit below your best, but now your a-game is back you will be tough to beat. Have fun in your doubles match with Sabine tomorrow, that should be a great way to keep your game sharp for your next singles match on Tuesday. Just go for it Sam!
